Tablescape #4

It's Tablescape Thursday again, hosted by Between Naps on the Porch.

This week I decided to have a coffee bar. So grab a cup of coffee, a slice of coffee cake and relax.

All white cups and saucers, creamer and sugar bowl are from Crate & Barrel. So are the napkins and glass plate. The silver spoon and silver tray are from an antique store.

Another Future Project

Our current one bedroom apartment has no extra space for a desk or office area. My plan is to use our front walk in closet as an office. I need to organize the shelves a little more and create as much floor space as possible. Then on the hunt for a small desk or tabletop. We may even build our own desktop that can be folded back up against the wall when not in use.

Fall/ Halloween Inspiration

I love fall so much...I think this is just the beginning of these kinds of posts.

Aren't taffy apples the best!

Fill candle votives with candy corn, coffee beans or fall colored beans.

I love the look of metallic painted pumpkins.

I am trying to achieve this look all year round in my dining room. I am currently on the look-out for black & white plates. I want to mount them on each side of my mirror that hangs above the buffet table.

Tablescape #3

With the days of summer dwindling away, I thought I would put together a fall inspired tablescape. Yellow is the main color of my kitchen so I have many yellow dishes. I thought I would use this as the base color and then add some greens and oranges.

This is a serving plate my mom bought for me last fall.

The chargers are from WalMart, the white plate and yellow floral plate are from Crate & Barrel and the yellow bowl is from Ikea.
