I'm so excited to do my first Tablescape Thursday. I regularly check out
Between Naps on the Porch every Thursday to see all the beautiful and inspiring tablescapes of other bloggers. Hopefully I keep this up and participate every week.
During our move a couple of weeks ago I came across a set of dishes that I completely forgot I had. They are a bridal themed set of dessert plates that I had received at my own bridal shower. So I decided to do a tablescape for a bridal luncheon. I have 5 friends that will be getting married in the next year so this tablescape may come in handy in the future.
All of the glasses and the pitcher were also wedding gifts.
After opening these dishes, I realized that each plate had a different picture on it. This one is of the bride & groom.
Champagne flutes.
A flower bouquet.
And a wedding cake. (each plate is sitting on top of scrapbook paper for a placemat)
I bought some beautiful carnations at Costco.
These candle votives were left over from a baby shower I threw for my co-worker. I bought them at Ikea for $3.00 for a set of 6. And the small cake slice is an individual candle that came in a set. This was also a shower gift :)
